Storyboards

Along with this sneak peek I wanted to mention my storyboards. They are 10"x20" and can have from two to five images, most arrangements of vertical and horizontal can work.
It's easy to find frames for them because it is a standard size. Usually they are sold with a mat that has three spots for 4x6 or 5x7 images. You just take out the mat and insert your storyboard print. The background around the images can be white, black or can be picked from a color in one of the images to help with color coordinating.

| Celebrate! |

I love it when people let their hair down and are willing to play around when being shot. I think it makes this shot much more fun and enjoyable... you can't help but smile when you see their excitement.

So the next time your photographer asks you to do something, and you're not quite sure about it... try it! You might really like the outcome!

| Chosing your photographer |

With SLR's becoming more affordable it's easier for people to purchase one and start up a photography business.

What makes the photographer you've chosen different?

Being a great photographer requires much more than taking pictures.

Make sure the photographer you hire is skilled in editing as well. You won't be able to know what your final images will look like by looking at the back of their camera. Chose a photographer that fits your style of editing. Each photographer will have their own style. Some like to keep their images crisp and clean with bright colors. Some like to edit with textures. Look through a lot of your photographers work to make sure you know what to expect when you see your proofs.
